Description

This magnificent Maserati 3500GT Spyder Vignale underwent a nut and bold restoration, performed in Italy by Automobile Tricolore near Brescia. It was restored into its original colour scheme outside and inside. The restauration started in September 2016 till April 2018. Every single and smallest part, was taken apart. The engine and gearbox, who are matching, were also completely restored in an as new condition. On 23 March 1962, this car was sold to its first owner Giorgio Pes, who lived in Piazza Quinti Cecilio n° 3 in Rome. The matriculation of the car was ROMA519426. The car changed hands on 7 July 1964 to its second owner Mr. Marchi Alberto Alfredo, who lived in Naples and was registered under plate NAPOLI310115. On 17 September 1981, it was sold to its 3rd owner, Mr. Russo Giuseppe, who used to live in Naples, but moved to Brescia. The car was used till 1989. At that time it was in need of a restauration, but the owner was not financially strong enough to have it restored. So it remained in his barn till 2015. It was purchased in 2015 by Edoardo Bonanomi, owner of Automobile Tricolore, who sold the car to Thierry Dehaeck, who commissioned a full restoration. This Vignale has its Certificate of Origin, the original Technical and aesthetic Characteristics and ACI papers (Automobile Club Italia), confirming its history with 3 owners. An original sales brochure is also available which is difficult to find nowadays. Only 242 Spyder Vignale have been produced, which makes it a very sought after car. This is the very best Maserati 3500GT Vignale you will ever find.
